Making cuts to shooting and deleting clips is easy in Movavi, but differs slightly from other video editing programs.
The media browser allows you to choose from a variety of settings to start a project: you can record videos directly on Movavi using your computer’s camera or webcam, you can record a screencast or add media files, and import a video, audio, or image file folder to work with. The Movavi UI has three main dashboards: a preview monitor, a media panel, and a timeline workspace with a selection of tools. The export window also includes a YouTube form to add a description and the ability to make your video public or private as I would in YouTube Studio. Movavi’s export options have also been designed with YouTuber and vlogger in thought, allowing you to upload directly to YouTube from the program.
On that line, the “Assembly Wizard,” in which the program will create a quick presentation sequence for you, is ideal for merging related videos, while the full function mode goes above and beyond to edit titles, graphics, and effects.
Movavi is designed to stand out as an easy-to-use video editor of personal movies, marketed for travel diaries, wedding videos, and vlogs. There is a Movavi Plus edition that has some additional features, but personal editing is similar in functionality and design. Movavi 15 Video Editor Personal Edition is the basic version of the company’s video editing software.
